He's surprised me a few times lately by saying: "no we don't have the money for that" and it's been so nice not to be the one saying that continually! I think it's sinking in at last! Hurrah!
Bless him, he has so many good qualities, and I know I only ever seem to moan about hm on here, but he's a good lad really.
Aw, bless! Im glad you bit your tongue and went with the 'praise' approach - it will more likely encourage him to stick to his newfound ways that you have been trying to implement all along! Im glad your still posting RP.... xx
Soappie - I know what you mean. When I went for my job, I didnt meet any of the other candidates but heard about them afterwards and a few of them sounded like they were like me. I was told later by the office manager that they were concerned about my previous work experience etc, and almost wasnt offered the job becuase of it.
It is sort of a frustration also, as my current manager is lovely and I really like working with her, but she isnt a professional manager in the proper sense of the word. Shes very knowledgable and clever and Ive learned a lot about the technical side of my job from her, but she isnt a manager so to speak. I find myself managing her sometimes especially when she is stressed etc. Also when I first started I had to remind myself how to use the copiers, binders, franking machines etc as these were tasks I would previously have appointed to my someone else! :rotfl:
Flying wise - I have done my first online proper shop. The last few weeks ive been £80-90 - this was £66 inc delivery :T
Im hoping I havent completely forgotten everything...... :ROLLEYES!!!!!!:Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Toochoosey - I agree with Pigpen; looks like mine did just a few years ago - long blond hair and a cheeky grin!
Common sense ought to prevail re the smilies situation. It's just plain daft to be upset by a smiley!
Pigpen - I have those kind of conversations too - just take a deep breath and tell yourself they are not worth getting stressed about. After all, it is the other person wgho loses in the end.
Wont be around next week much as going to London for a meeting on Monday and then staying down to find out how my mum is. Have tracked her down to the right hospital at least - was told one and when I rang I said 'I believe you have my mum in your hospital'. They answered 'No we dont'. So I said 'How can you tell? I havent even told you her name yet'. They said 'We dont have any patients at this hospital'!! The mind boggles!!
Anyway, night night all - see you tomorrow!
And happy weekend too.

Piggers - well done you on managing not to raise your voice!
Even though I've had dinner, I've just had the urge to eat dippy boiled egg on toast. So I cooked it up. Gorgeous it was ! A real comfort type nostalgia food from my childhood.
I'll have to do the psychology bit in the morning and work out just which screwed up part of my life prompted that regression to late teenagehood (when I'd come home from the pub just after closing time, cook up dippy boiled egg on toast and eat it whilst watching some black and white film from the Hammer House of Horror on the black and white TV! Vincent Price was wonderful in them).
In fact, when are they doing the repeats of those wonderful old films? ~stamps foot in a beligerant type way~I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi All,
Meal was yummy, but extra flying needed now to clear off some of the £'s tomorrow!!!
Have read all the posts, but am rubbish at then doing multi-quote, so just to say - I have caught up (huh, not with the cleaning, with the goss!!), those away for the week-end, have fun. Those in need of lovin' ... have some xx
I think I accidentally mis-lead you in saying "my darling girls" into thinking it was solely my DD's ... it wasn't ... it was the Brownies and Guides (including DD's!!) - phew, glad I cleared that up and all credit distributed as necessary!!
Please, please, please, can I plea for someone / everyone to nag me before Sunday to do Guiding Census which has to be complete by then, or else I'll be in paperwork trouble!!!! I just can't be bothered to do it right now, I just want to cuddle up and sleep! I'm not very good at keeping caught up with threads over weekends lately - too busy cleaning, so any kick up the bottom will be much appreciated!!!
Night all x0
