Do you live in a dungeon, with lots of bolts and padlocks, Valli:rotfl:
Please, please, please, can I plea for someone / everyone to nag me before Sunday to do Guiding Census which has to be complete by then, or else I'll be in paperwork trouble!!!! I just can't be bothered to do it right now, I just want to cuddle up and sleep! I'm not very good at keeping caught up with threads over weekends lately - too busy cleaning, so any kick up the bottom will be much appreciated!!!
Can we nag each other - I have the Scouts District Return to complete, and still have 2 groups outstanding (no inputs, no cheques, and no ideas of numbers  ).
DH will be taking the children to swim club,so I'm doing more Scout paperwork
See you all later, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Good morning all I'm just working my way through the last 8 pages I have to catch up on
Just wanted to say Benwmum My Dad has always said he wants his ashes scattered at Muker. Is there a bridge somewhere up a very steep hill??? He and Mum are big walkers and it's one of their fave places.
Poohbear Re old cd's. I cut photos into circles and glued them onto the plain shiny side of cd's, got some little bows & stuff from the local craft shop to glue on the top of the cd and put them all over one wall of DD's bedroom. She loves it as she's got all her photos up, I was able to use up a lot of random pics and it looks lovely in the pink/silver bedroom. I keep saying I'm going to do similar in the kitchen with family pictures or more kitcheny ones. It may be an idea for you?
Freezing cold here this morning I shall go and get dressed soon & S&S the bathroom to warm me up :rotfl:
Have a good day all xxx0 -

:hello:Hi everyone!
I'm back online at last. :j
I have been reading most of the posts, but being on my school laptop I've not been able to post as I can't log in after comments I've made about them.
I've been off sick Wednesday to Friday with the most horrendous cold, but feeling a little bit more normal now - still not 100% but at least I can breathe better during the day and have got my appetite back.
Whilst I was in school on Tuesday, I talked to our inschool union rep about my resignation and the date I'd be able to go. Basically as a teacher, we're meant to give notice by 28th February to leave 30th April, but that would mean me teaching for the first 2 weeks of the summer term, which obviously I'd prefer not to do. Apparently I should put that I'd like to leave on 16th April, but know that I'm officially contracted until 30th April, and just hope that they release me early. I don't care about not being paid for the last 2 weeks of the month, as I'd rather just get out of there and start doing supply as early as possible. Fingers crossed that they let me go then as I'll still be paid for the easter holidays, where no doubt I'll have to come in and hand over to the new teacher etc.
Thanks to toots for passing on my messages whilst I wasn't online, and thanks to macpep for missing me too.
Fingers crossed that both your interviews went well juliejim and moam.
Texted LadyL and she is in Brighton for a couple of days having a well-deserved break, so not quite sure when she'll be back online, but don't worry if you haven't seen her post for a couple of days.
I have been flying during my sick days, as although our central heating is now installed (just in time for my days at home), they weren't particularly good at tidying up after themselves. So, on Thursday I hoovered the entire house, cleaned the side and wall in the kitchen where the old boiler had been, which was covered in brick dust where they sealed the whole where the pipes went out. I've also done some washing, moved all of the furniture back to where it should be, and started to get the house looking a bit more normal. I've also marked quite a few of my writing assessments that were due in on Friday, but still have quite a few left to do, so that'll be another task this weekend. Have meal-planned for next week and bought most of the food (just a couple of bits to get at Sainsbugs and local market today as MrT had run out).
Well I've waffled enough, so I'd better get a wriggle on and get into town. I've also got to take back my hairdryer that I got at the end of December as the nozzle keeps on blowing off the end cos the end of the hairdryer has melted.
Hugs to all who need or want one,
