PP - Thanks, but TUPE has been my main source of income in the last ten years. On the positive side now Toots knows she will make me do it! Always happy to help anyone who is suffering with it, just not happy to post on the wider forums because it gets very boring with bar room lawyers talking out of their rear ends.

Now Jinky - that smiley made me ROFL despite being too old to understand (says my teenage stepson)

Tell me about it  I'm happy to help, privately, anyone who wants help with managing their debts, but when I see some of the nonsense posted on DFW

You just made me feel much better :o. I do feel guilty sometimes given how much I take off these boards. I also agree on the ebay/Amazon profit v Freecycle convenience point which isnt very :money:.

We are waiting on the return of DH and SS2 so we can have dinner. This weekend we are off to scatter FILs ashes, and I have been volunteered to provide lunch for 12 so need to do some planning for that - has blown my GC challenge even further. Scattering of the ashes this weekend three hours north from here was news to me, even before the food got announced. DH has a lot on atm to be fair but still .

Sorry -filling with chat. I have also finished the Wednesday ~ Living/Family/Reception room- so star for that please Toots

Hex - what's TUPE? Was just saying to DH that I felt sorry fot the employees at they had about 200 so finding jobs in that area could be tough, like we all know when Jo faced redundancy head on

Its not easy - Ive still never received any compensation.... :ROLLEYES!!!!!:

But you lovely flyladies helped me out so much, In so many ways - more than Im sure you know. xx Its one of those situations that is so dire 'thank you' doesnt even begin to cover it. I dont know what I would have done without you all.

Jobs in this area are still very few and far between as south wales has had so many redundancies in so many industries, it doesnt matter what your experience and background is, its tough.

I went from senior management to basic admin, just so I had a job...
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

  • Hex - EA work is sooo boring! I'm sick to the back teeth of the housing market, I hate doing 2 adverts in two papers every week for all the properties as we all know papers don't sell properties, it's just a way of getting your name out. It takes me 2 days to do both (in between everything else) and drives me potty. All we get is bad press (EA's in general) and I know we do outstanding customer service and work our bits off to help both vendors and buyers alike - well my company does. My manager comes to my office for a grand total of about an hour or so a week. So I'm on my own with thankfully the lovely freddie boy in lettings (I've made him an old g$t before his time he's only 23!!!!) and all for a measly sum of money

God that was a rant and a half!! sorry my lovelies, sh$tty sh$tty week, can you tell?!! :rotfl::rotfl:
I should just be lucky I have a job, a wonderful DH, three smashing kids (well some of the time!!!), 1 SDD and a baby grandchild on the way

Then there is another sparky hopefully coming monday to finish the oil system it's running on an extention lead too.:rotfl:

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
