Well, I know that I'm rather vague at the moment...the condition and the drugs... but I honestly thought I had posted here today. Never mind, here I am now.
Last lot of sewing is ready to be posted and the next lot should be arriving tomorrow. I think it will be about 50 hours. Quite a lot happening this next week, so will have to fit it in here and there. DD home from Thurs-Tues, so she might help out a bit with meals. I have a meal plan worked out.
Over purchased in Aldi on the Super6 last couple of weeks. Cheapo carrots yesterday so made a nice double batch of carrot and coriander soup for lunch and ds will ahve some for the next couple of days for pack up. Also made a nice lamb casserole, with a potato and parsnip rosti. Also a yummy rice pudding. TRAGEDY! Food was all great, but my grater disc bearer in the food processor finally broke right thru. It's been cracked for ages. I've had the thing for 23 1/2 years so I guess it hasn't done too badly. The rest of it works, so will keep going with it until I can organise a new one. After that might see if dd wants it for food mixing purposes or whatever.
Can't seem to keep up with housework, as I'm trying to rest my arms, but will get there eventually.
Hope you've all had a good day."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Good evening everyone :hello:
Firstly, I hope that those meeting yesterday had a good time. I've managed to miss both times that Aussielass has been over to these shores. I'll meet up with you one day! I must owe you a couple of drinks now.
Thriftlady - loving the blog!
We're still living with the in-laws, but thankfully they're on holiday at the moment. It's been tough having to live with their storecupboard as it's not what I have in my storecupboard (which is currently packed away in one of the boxes in the garage). On the plus side, our new boiler was commisioned on Thursday so we have heating! It's all upwards from here, we hope!
Take care everyone

Evening all,
Very cold here to-day, had been thinking of reducing heating times to morning and evening but postponed it...have had fires lighting in kitchen and living room and heat on to-day.
Made pizza for dinner....left it too late to make proper bases so made soda bread using natural yogurt and water as wetting agents and very pleased with results...will do it again. No room for pud but intend to have a few Christmas chocs which are still here before I go to bed.
Water still leaking onto ground floor, need to talk to someone about it to-morrow....being his usual pessimistic self OH says we need a new roof ( in fairness the house is 200 years old !!) but I am hoping that it is just a couple of slates that have slipped....can't see anything by looking up at roof and will not be going up there!
Nothing exciting happening here to-day....more washing done and hung round house, everything needs to be ironed that we are taking away with us on Tuesday, am trying to persuade OH to buy himself some new jeans....he needs to go up a size as he has put on weight since he gave up cigarettes last year...the man is so mean when it comes to himself, if I asked him for €1000 to spend on a pair of shoes it wouldn't be a problem, if the children asked him for money for no reason it would be forthcoming but spend money on Ulick...no way, makes me soooo mad!
Hugs to all who are not well or who need one for any reason, sleep well,

Good evening chums,
had a great day yesterday met lots of lovely people at the Meet, and then had to go home to pick my car up and get over to Bromley to help my niece with her move today. Not long home, and all seems to be well at the moment but I am completely cream-crackered. Just going to bed to catch up on some sleep. But will return tomorrow when I have caught up with myself
Night all God Bless
