Morning all
Glad you've has some more positive news Diva
Spent most of the night awake again & still very deaf, aaarrggh.
DGS though it was hysterical having to shout at me yesterday when DD popped in with him, I sent her home with a bottle of squash, some chocolate biscuits as well as the ribbon she came over for. DGS also had a marmite sandwich as he'd been to a party where there was no savory food at all.
It's DGD's 2nd birthday next weekend & she needs a fleece sleepsuit, the all in one sort with feet in, can I find any anywhere? No I damn well can't, not for her age anyway, I shall carry on hunting.
All the washing was done yesterday, just a bit of ironing for today, we will have roast beef with roast pots & cauliflower cheese & yorkies. I have a few slices of beef & some cauliflower in the freezer I think there will be enough cauli cheese to do me lunch tomorrow too.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

morning!
I'm having a lazy start to the day before I go to work later - a in bed with the lappy and a nice cuppa!:)Went to both sets of parents yesterday too as it's MIL's birthday at the end of this week, so took her prezzie and card, got a bit of a strange look from her as her prezzie was a bit of odd shape and difficult to wrap so put it in an Ann Summers gift bag and put lots of ribbon and bows on it, think she wondered what I'd bought her, did tell her not to get too excited as it wasn't anything from Ann Summers!!! Not much else to report.
:rotfl::D that made me smile!:T
Diva - glad Tris and Michelle are improving x
PP - hope you are ok. My DH was asking about the OSers last night(doesn't usually show much interest) and asked if'that Penny Pincher' was still on there as he remembered Martin mentioning you a long time ago. x
Plans for today are not a lot:D as I'm off to work for 11am. DH will be left in charge of the house.
Work should be fun today as we're having a nice roast dinner followed by an afternoon at a local pantomime with 2 service users.:)
Hope you all have a nice Sunday xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Had a relatively settled night with DGD, apart from the usual 2am screechathon:rotfl::rotfl:She is fed and watered, and is watching and singing to Peppa Pig at the mo:T:T
I am going into town with my friend today, and prob doing more looking than shopping, although Primark might tempt me:o:oIt's more for the day out, and natter than anything else;)
Wont be spending anything on food today, as i'm ok for that:D
Have got the start of a cold n sore throat so am dosing up on meds before it takes hold:eek::eek:
Have got dinner and tea sorted, it's lentil pate on toast, and a pasta bake:p:p:p
HESTER primark do have the fleecy sleepsuits in for £4.I got DGD 2 last week, and they're fab:D

Good morning,
I haven't posted for while as I haven't done anything much. I have been feeling the after effects of my cold (still coughing), and have just been taking it easy and mostly cooking food from the freezer (so why is it still so full?).
I did make a move yesterday, and hoovered the whole house - couldn't remember the last time I hoovered upstairs. Today I have ironing to do and I'm meeting friends at the Wacky Warehouse to let the children have a run around.
I have to empty the junk out of number 5 bedroom this week as the builders are coming on the 1st of February to turn it into a proper bathroom. The small bathroom that we have now will be a shower room eventually. I'm also having a bed delivered next week to put into the little bedroom. This means I will no longer have to sleep on the floor when we have visitors, yay!
Hugs to anyone who needs them, and take care all of you.0 -
Morning all...............((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.....
Packing about to commence......
OH has brought the ladder in so I can get into the loft and get the stuff down including the boxes for the two sewing machines.
I have some turkey left from Christmas in the freezer so with roasties, cauliflower and brussels that will be tonights supper. The fridge and freezer are begining to look rather empty.......which is good, do not want too much left in them to move.
Will be back later with an update, cheers................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Morning all
I had a lovely catch up evening with 2 friends last night over bottle of wine and a pizza at my flat. It was lovely for them to come here as normally it's me who drives! They left around midnight then I headed to bed and attempted to read but woke up this morning with the plastic cover of the library book stuck to my head :rotfl:
WM is on now and I can't decide whether to dry indoors or put it out for a bit. Weather is beautiful here, sunny and not too cold. I'd like clothes to get a proper airing, but it's positively sweltering in my flat today for some reason (only had 2 out of 5 storage heaters on last night) so it seems silly to waste the heat that I've paid for IYKWIM!
Plans for today include very little! Lazy morning I think as I want to finish my book, then I'll go for a walk, pop to Morrisons to get the stuff they didn't have in the other shops yesterday and then make a dinner this evening. Need to make lunch too for Monday (salad with something like falafal or pasta) and hard boil some eggs.
Have a good day all
