Afternoon all. Been busy chez Thrit this weekend.

We all enjoyed Joseph yesterday even though Craig Chalmers wasn't on but the understudy Steven Kirwan instead. He was excellent. The performance was slightly spoilt for me by having two complete numpties sitting behind me. They kept telling each other what was going on on stage, rustling sweet wrappers continually and even singing along. I didn't pay nearly £130 to hear gormless from Birmingham sing (no offence to Brummies, I'm one too).

Today I have made some rolls for the lunchboxes which I need to get in the oven soon. I've also got a huge batch of bolognese sauce bubbling away for supper. I shall freeze half for a busy day.

Most of my time has been taken up with starting my blog The Quince Tree. If you'd like to know what we ate yesterday pay me a visit :)

    Yes, it's that interesting :D

I've just got back from a lovely half hour walk by the sea. It was such a beautiful afternoon. Although I am now feeling a bit  now cos I was rather jealous of all the happy families out there - made me wish I had an OH/kids/dog

    :rotfl:

I'd love a dog, but I live in a 4th floor flat, and work full time so I don't think it's really fair.

Not much OS here I'm afraid unless spending quality time with friends & family counts!

Went to the theatre yesterday to see a modern production of Die Fledermaus then had a lovely chat with a member of the cast who I occasionally meet up with around the country.

Then my best friend & I went for a delicious Greek meal at a lovely little family owned restaurant - it always reminds me of my hols when I go there.

We shared a meze & I couldn't eat it all so brought home a doggy bag for OH.

Today we've been out for lunch with DS1, DIL & DGD as it's his 26th birthday on Tuesday. Found a voucher on here so at least it was moneysaving if not OS style! ;)

In between I've managed a bit of HW & done all the laundry so not too bad.

Juggling Sky+ now as I want to watch D on Ice, Antiques Roadshow, Larkrise & the Fools & Horses thingy and OH wants to see Wild at Heart!!

Pleased to here the OS Meet went well. Wish I could have been there. We need to have one a bit further North - maybe Notts/Sheffield area?

Hugs to everyone who needs one especially PP.
