yesterday I baked a slimming world orange cake. I forgot to add the baking powder but after soaking in orange syrup overnight, the cake is still light and airy and even tastes better the day after! Even better I cut it into 16 pieces (rather than the suggested 10) so more servings for less calories / syns

I'm alright though, after a couple of rhubarb cakes last week I have a Brioche in the oven just now - with chocolate custard filling.
How on earth am I supposed to keep my weight down if I have to use up all these eggs that are coming in from the birds. I bet they must be laying tons more than last year :rotfl:
