    Hi Bella,
Aussielass put me onto a recipe using normal flour for bread. Ive made it several times and it has worked well, it is a reasonably heavy bread tho.

This is the recipe compliments of Aussielass

1 cup warm water , 1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp oil , 1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp honey (since honey has become pricey I've stopped with the honey),
    1 tsp salt
    Combine in bowl. Stir.
    Add in
1 1/2 cups Plain flour, 1 1/2 cups WM Plain Flour,
    2 tsp dried yeast.

Knead for about 5 mins. Cover & rest in bowl for about 40 mins. Knock back & knead for a few minutes. Place in oiled loaf tin, cover. Let it rise until it doubles in size (about 30 mins). Bake 350 degrees 30 - 35 mins.

  • Twelve American muffins with glac! cherries. Came out beautifully and baked in my new silicone muffin cases. If anyone is wondering whether to get these, I would recommend them. They are pretty pastel colours and can be served in the cases. The best thing is that there is no greasing required, and the cakes never stick

I'm having a go at making my first cheesecake this Saturday and I'm using Gordon Ramsay's RECIPE.

Now the cheesecake seems relatively easy to make but there is just one little thing needling me and I'm hoping for some advice. Ramsay says: If it turns out well I'm taking it to my sisters house on the Sunday as I know she'll be having some guests - but what's the best way to transfer the cake to a large plate without damaging it  The plated cake will then go inside a large plastic box.

As a by the way how long can a cheesecake be kept for before going off?

Sorry did try to clink on the link but couldnt open it.

If the cc is made in a tin with a removable bottom, I would place the tin on a raised block and then gently push the tin down so you are left with cake still on base but no sides. I generally end up with the sides on my arm and gingerly manoevring the cake onto a surface! Then add segments etc.

Depending on the type of cheese used I would think it would keep for a couple of days. After cooking it, you could always open freeze it after dividing it up into even portions. HTH

14 Pineapple muffins and a pineapple upside down cake. Don't know what the upside down cake will turn out like though, I used the last of the crushed pineapple & it may be a bit wet - we will see :)
