Not one thing - but I did pick up a killer flapjack recipe from my best mate - so I may well be doing that tomorrow (or as soon as I can get hold of a 9x9 tin) :j

    Hi,

I've made 12 single portion Alnwick stews (in foil trays), 5 cottage pies (in foil trays), 8 lasagnes (foil trays), 4 portions of curry, 5 portions of chicken and white bean stew and best of all 48 twinks :)

    PGxx

What are Alnwick stews- I used to live near a place called Alnwick so curious to know of the recipe!

Yesterday had a 'bake' day.... cooked one family size and one smaller (2 portion) veggie lasagne, made a veggie bolognese, made two veggie chilli's, and an apple and apricot crumble. Thats some meals for the freezer sorted!

(by the way..... just joining this thread....... so many ideas on here!)

Does it count if I used my new breadmaker to bake my lovely warm oatmeal loaf?

Wholemeal date scones so that DD and I can have scone and coffee here tomorrow instead of buying whilst out shopping,

                  4. My first attempt at whole-wheat muffins and they are lovely. Much more filling than white muffins and not much sugar, but still taste like a treat.
Also baked a soda loaf, as the oven was on anyway. This will go nicely with the chicken and veg stew that's simmering away on the hob for tonight.:j
