the other day i made 2 fruit cakes, 2 bara brith and a large batch of fruit scones and plain scones - all in my freezer for cake and tea after my wedding and before the reception (will also give us time to mingle with church friends who will come to the service but it is not possible to invite to the reception due to numbers). i still have a lot to bake planning another 4 cakes on my day off - have not decided what yet - using loaf tins as they will stack in the freezer like bricks and take up less space than round cakes. i already have offers of space in friend freezers and a few offers to bake cakes.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. I was feeling rotten, curled up on the sofa. The 11am munchies hit and it was either a walk to the shops or see what I could rustle up. So cheesy mustard muffins are in the oven and a wholemeal loaf is rising. That is me for today, back to the sofa.0

If I attempted one of your lovely creations, I would be in bed for a week with exhaustion! :rotfl:First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

:rotfl: aw bless you. That cake above is pretty alright to make, only took 25 minutes to assemble. Probably would've been quicker if I didn't stop to eat the chocolate'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
purpledonkey that cake looks amazing!
Sending Get well wishes to those that need them.
I've had a busy but enjoyable day in the kitchen - I've made a poppy seed loaf of bread, some flapjacks and some rock cakes. Yum0
