Well I treat myself for christmas in my quest to make decent pastry.
Got myself a food processor but in true MSE style paid as little as possible.
Was £120 in tesco.
Had £20 to double up in vouchers
Daughter gave me a £20 off electricals voucher.
Had £40 payout from our work syndicate.
So £20 to pay:j
Have grated cheese in it and chopped a load of veg to make soup so far but will be having a go at pastry and other stuff in the new year.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
I haven't baked today, however, the co-op has baked mince pies, cookies and muffins for me today (all reduced too); does that count?0

First time baking in our new house. Getting a food mixer from Santa tomorrow but done by hand today. Already made ginger biscuits and will shortly be following the recipe of a certain silver-haired baker to prepare pastry and filling for mince pies so we can eat them warm tomorrow with as little effort as possible!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3
