I had some beef stew leftover that I made in the slowcooker yesterday so today I made beef pasties for lunch today, a pie for the freezer which used that up. Not really baking but I made some pate with some reduced liver. Not sure how that will turn out!Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0

Hello I'm new to this forum ( spend most of any time I have on here on grabbit or special occasions.
I'm a cake maker so thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Emma I'm 31 married and I'm a sahm to 3 gorgeous children (9,7 & 2)
Today I have baked 2 lemmon drizzle cakes and a orange drizzle cake.
Yesterday I finished off a birthday cake for a friends son (Gordon from Thomas the tank engine) & made a carrot cake and a chocolate cake for dinner at my parents house.
The carrot cake came out rubbish so will be looking around for a couple of different recipes to try lol.
I've just finished turning 1 of the lemmon cakes into a plant pot for my mum for mothers day got to do them same with the orange one for mil tomorrow.

I've made a 4-layer victoria sandwich cake. Was meant to be the traditional 2, but my cake tins were bigger than the recipe ones and the cake just wasn't tall enough with 2, so made another couple of layers - now it's enormous! lolEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Pavlova baked today for my wee fat mum. She likes the meringue to be crispy and I add a little icing sugar to the cream as she has a sweet tooth, hence why she is a wee fat mum.
She calls it "that merangy cakey thing" :rotfl:
Nothing else baked or cooked the rest of the day, not even a cup of tea DS and DD doing it all. I have been banned from the kitchen as I do have the habit of standing at the door orchestrating every move the poor souls make, which in true control freak mother fashion drives them bonkers.
Just remembered I made mum some Lemon Curd as well, which is still sitting in my fridge! I forgot to take it over to her, oh well another wee treat for her later on."To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill" Sun Tzu0 -
I've made a sponge cake for later in the week, and a Hugh F-W raised pork pie for our tea :j
The Simnel cake that I made earlier in the week was cut today, and it's delicious
