A Jewish Honey cake (recipe that I've only just come across)
    A tray of brownies
    A Chocolate Mud Cake
    A tray of bread rolls

Does a vegetarian lasagne (tomorrows dinner)and a pot of beetroot soup count?:p
  • Homemade baps for lunchtime butty's and a sausage plait for tonights tea.

Its my first attempt at the plait, Ive not cooked it yet but am thinking maybe I should have softened the onions first !
The sausage meat is from a cumberland sausage which I decided was too big for the two of us so I cut in half.
We had one half last week with onion gravy & mash & I froze the rest for tonights plait.

How was the sausage plait? When I made one a few weeks ago I didn't soften the onions and it was fine.

Today I've made some cherry and coconut flapjacks and some millionaire's shortbread. The recipe for the latter is from the Hairy Bikers Mums Know Best book and I had to stop myself making the empire biscuits from the opposite page too, but if I made them I'd only eat them! :D

1 ginger cake, 2 coconut cakes, 2 lemon & lime drizzle cakes - 1 apple cake still to make. Have stopped now for a break!

I don't usually bake so much but am taking them down for my DGD's christening this weekend.

We have made Chocolate cake for DH's birthday. We usually buy a supermarket one because my chocolate cake is too dry, fingers crossed for this one.
