I opened a tin of condensed milk to make popcorn chicken, so just used the rest of it in a batch of gluten free lemon drizzle muffins

I'm just chilling my pastry and will be turning it into cheese and onion pasties. In true mse style I am using some grated cheese which hasn't got long left and leftover mash.
Should have enough for tea and some smaller ones to snack on

Made a quiche today, my first blind bake using ready bought pastry went wrong, so had to whip up a batch of my own very quickly, didn't realise how easy it was. Need to practice the edges, might not be the prettiest quiche on the block, but tasty. And made with only milk and eggs, no cream.

I'm suffering from baking hangover

we had a major 'baking spree' over the weekend: Delia's banana cake, Delia's mini savoury scones, mini sweet scones, cheese and bacon stuffed bread, bread machine wholewheat bread, homemade white bread.
...having two bakers in the house is very bad for the waistline...
