  • I made Milktart, heart shaped no knead cheese bread and a chocolate mincemeat cake to take to friends tomorrow who invited us for dinner...and to bring pudding! Think they like my baking!

fruit loaf which unexpectantly turned out beautifully light - I used SR instead of plain flour so will always do this with this recipe from now on..

So today I set my alarm for 4am in order to get some baking time before work. I made: 10 x vanilla and strawberry cupcakes; 10 x lemon and coconut cupcakes; 12 x apple, cinnamon and vanilla cupcakes.

I have baguette dough proving in the airing cupboard. Bought some Perfobake baguette 'tins' from Lakeland yesterday so looking forward to testing them out.

Ooooo! As in Chocolate Concrete? :D If so can you post the recipe please? I have tried a few that I found online but none that quite took me back to the 'boiled cabbage aroma' school dinner days I recall ;)

    Pink custard anyone? :rotfl:
