I made some muffins while I had the oven on for dinner. This week I bought a bag of the odd shape carrots - 1.5kg Sainsbugs - 95p
First time using this recipe - very different to my usual Muffin recipe. In the interests of readers - I tested a Muffin - delicious.
I had to substitute some of the ingredients but the result was great - Mr F loved his half of a Muffin.
I will share recipe if anyone wants it. Cost to make 12 Muffins - approx £1. They are a filling Muffin - I suppose because of the added fibre ingredients.

Currently in the breadmaker honey and oat loaf. Slightly misnamed as there is more white and wholemeal flour than oats but does taste lovely and it's only a tablespoon of honey so not too sweet.

I use the dough setting on the breadmaker then take it out, put it in loaf tin, prove then bake it in oven as I find the squarer loafs from bm hard to cut at times.

date loaf: haven't made this years and I forgot that the loaf tins I have now are a bit smaller than my old ones, so a bit of an overspill. Oops! Still tastes good though ;)
