Made last night, DS's mud and worms birthday cake:
Basically a chocolate fudge cake mix (I used a cheat mix as these taste so good and when I add up the cost of all other ingredients they are as cheap almost), choc fudge icing, crushed bourbon mud, jelly worms and snails (from granny), green icing grass. He loved it! Having it later for birthday tea.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

I've spent the morning at my parents so have baked as I can share it between them and us (we'd never eat it all at ours with just the two of us and bf going away so often).
I've made some vanilla cupcakes with glace icing - nice, basic, proper treats for lunches and some twinks hobnobs- some bigger, cookie sized, and some smaller ones :-) off to plan more baking for next time!************************************

It's a bit cheaty really. I used Glutafin mix (prescription flour mix) but it would work with normal s-r flour (and probably rise better tbh).
It's a standard 4,4,4,2 recipe of flour: fat: caster sugar and eggs.
I added a little extra baking powder due to the nature of the flour mix.
I then added 1 tsp of raspberry flavouring and a small handful of frozen raspberries.
The buttercream on top has some raspberry flavouring in it and the little sweets are 'frootz'.0
