Hi all I am in need of some baking advice please! I am going to try to make my little boys first birthday cake and I am looking for a Victoria sponge cake recipe to use.
I am wanting three layers and the tins I have are round 9 inch ones. I have what I think to be all of the ingredients needed but I am not sure on the quantities to useAlso I haven't a clue what temp to cook at and for how long

I just googled 9" victoria sponge recipe and amongst others was a recipe for a hairy bikers cake (2 9" cakes), you should be able to plus this up by half recipe to get your 3 layers. Read the notes, someone suggested that the recipe made too much butter icing, so you may not need to adjust this part. (Not tried this myself)
