I was inspired by Thifty's post about making Eve's Pudding so I made one as well as I had some dessert apples which were looking a bit shrivelled and needed using up. It's really delicious. Great idea, Thifty! Please inspire me some more

Yesterday I made an apple pie, from scratch, and was scrummy- some left for today. Also made a HM cottage pie. Today will be baking [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE] salmon [STRIKE]en croute[/STRIKE] fish-cakes later on :).

I made some coffee kisses yesterday from the Be-Ro book, but filled them with vanilla buttercream instead of coffee. They've gone to work with DH to share round at a meeting this afternoon.

Going to have a go at some bread later. Now I'm off work for a few months I have time to make bread by hand, so I'm going to start working my way through the River Cottage Bread Handbook which is absolutely gorgeous.
