Today I've been making some bread by hand (no breadmaker yet) - one brown loaf and some white rolls. They are proving just now.

Yesterday I made some rich chocolate brownies. Served for dessert warm with clotted cream ice cream and a swirl of white chocolate.

Am now on my second piece of Fidget Pie. It seems like all cooking programmes have featured this pie recently so thought I would give it a go.

    Started with this....

....but added less cider, more sage and a whallop of grain mustard. Am now just popping off for my 3rd slice - it's delicious!

    Hi

    Made this bread: http://suite101.com/article/easy-ciabatta-bread-recipe---no-knead-no-mess-no-effort-a342227#.UWHAdje4JWU

Halved the recipe (1 cup white and 1 cup wholemeal strong bread flours). It came out well but next time I'm going to add slightly more salt.
