I'll try but it started as a recipe, got lost and is now made up in my head.:D
6oz marg
6oz caster sugar
2 eggs
Self-raising flour (at least 8oz - this is where I guess!)
raspberry jam
Oven (I have a fan oven 160)
Cream the marg and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Add enough flour to make a very soft dough. You need the dough to drop of the spoon with just a little help and hold its shape.
Grease baking tray and drop a spoonful (dessertspoon) of the mixture onto the tray. Leave room for the bun to spread a bit.
Make a small hole (not all the way through) in the top of each bun. The easiest way to do this is to dip the handle end of a wooden spoon in the flour and then in the bun.
Spoon some jam in the hole.
Bake until lightly browned (the colour of cupcakes/buns)
My DS's favourite.

ps this will make lots. If you need to reduce I would use 4oz and 1 egg.MFW 1/5/08 £45,789 Cleared mortgage 1/02/13
