Tea loaf and a Victoria sponge, 1st time I have ever baked a tea loaf, mixture was very runny so fingers crossed it will be OK.

All in one sponge with lemon buttercream and lemon curd. Used 5 eggs and same weight of sugar, marge and plain flour, 2tsp cream of tartar and 1 of bicarb. Made a lovely light moist sponge. Happy family

Ha today i made a disaster :rotfl:its called The Challenge, the challenge being it is so sickly can you finish it, i tried it a few years ago and it didnt work out but i couldnt remember what went wrong, so i have now found out, recipe says simmer 2 cans of condensed milk for 1 hour 20 mins (WRONG!!!!!) after i had opened tins and they were still runny, i googled it and you should boil for 2 - 21/2 hours to make it into caramel, safe to say i have deleted this bloomin recipe from my life, the challenge in my opinion now is what to do with a great big sticky mess:rotfl:x

Lemon & coconut / apple, cinnamon & vanilla cupcakes today, mainly so I could practice piping with some new tips - getting there slowly but surely!
