I made some chocolate brownies at the weekend and they were absolutely gorgeous (if I do say so myself :D).

Here is the recipe if anyone is interested:

When baking I always use Sainsburys Basics chocolate or the cheapest Lidl chocolate and it always works well (wouldn't touch the nasty Tesco value stuff though!)

    Zippy x

  • just put flapjack in oven as I needed something for a cup of tea :)
  • It might be easier to list what I haven't baked today lol! HM mini pizzas (dough from scratch) cheesy sausage rolls, cheese and caramelised onion muffins, lemon curd muffins as well as oaty biscuits. Then I made a blackberry & apple crumble for pud for after Lancashire hot pot. Phew! No wonder I need to put my feet up ;) The freezer is now rammed full of HM goodies x

Oh they all sound lovely, you have been busy. Could you post the recipe for the lemon curd muffins please?

I used the recipe from this blog - it's in cups but it's a really easy recipe, and soo good. I also added more cinnamon as I like it spicy!
