Decided to try some new (to me) cakes today and made this ginger cake

It is the best ginger cake I have tasted and not too bad for the budget
Also made a coffee and walnut cake, from good food websire,not eaten any of it yet, but looks lush:jNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I used crushed up shortbread rather than digestives though as I had those in the cupboard from Christmas. Takes a lot of Maltesers though so it isn't cheap. Think I used 6 bags but then used value chocolate! Tastes lovely though so worth every penny!0 -
