Perhaps not the correct forum to post this question but probably the best!
I'm after a food processor mainly to blitz butter/margarine with flour for the likes of pastry. As it is really all I'll be using it for I'm after something cheep and cheerful.
Last year I bought a Lidl food processor and I'm getting great value from it but unfortunately it doesn't make pastry dough.
So any ideas on a good economic machine that will carry out the above task?
As always many thanks for your replies.

Found this recipe via a site posted by a fellow MSE'r, something nice for the kids packlunch & easy just how i like it lol
http://www.lifestylefood.com.au/recipes/1683/childrens-yoghurt-cake
Used Greek yoghurt as i didn't have the other one,
Used 1 cup (250ml) self raising flour (hence no need for baking powder even if i had any!!) & 1/2 cup (125ml) of semolina just to see how it would turn out.
Its quite light in colour & am deciding whether i should use the remainder of the lemon for the syrup.....decisions decisions!.
This is not like me baking almost 2 days in a row!!!, but hey! hope someone enjoys this as much as usNo one said it was gonna be easy!0 -

This is for a family meal with adult veggie daughter.
I plan to do stir fry veg with it in the wok.
