Carrot cake, apple tart, wholemeal loaf, and a second attempt at Gordon Ramsay's lemon treacle slices. Carrot cake and lemon slices in freezer
In an earlier post I wrote that when making the lemon treacle slice again I wanted to do two tings1. Make the product less sweet, at the moment it is far to sweet for my taste. 2. Make the product that little bit firmer and easier to handle. In my original batch the slice was overly crumbly and came apart to quickly.
I suppose it is really a matter of not rushing[FONT="]!

which I am working through.
Still gotta work out liquid flour ratios so I end up with a dough to prove and not a wet dough needing flouring etc; but still these loaves are the nearest thing to Sourdough short of making actual sourdoughs via different methods.
I hope everyone is well and ((((to anyone who needs it))))).:money:#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Hi I am after some help please, I have looked and looked and asked on 'quick questions thread. I am sure I saw a recipe on here for a kind of 'twink' oat tray bake. It had a layer of jam and sounded easy to make! I cannot remember what it was called, 'jamblie?or something like that. Does anyone know where the recipe is could they point me in the right direction? I am thinking I may have dreamt it!
EDIT!! thanks to 'pipney jane' I have the recipe!! JAM CRUMBLIES
