I just baked a batch of ginger biscuits, had a little trouble with recipe initially due to my saucepans retaining the heat but after a little cool down were a success - am waiting till cool enough to have with a nice cup of coffee

I haven't baked today, but yesterday I made four loaves of bread, 10 currant buns (DD2 has been reading Paddington, so I thought they might be fun!), a batch of flapjacks and a batch of choc chip and brazil nut biscuits. In the middle of all that I made pancakes for lunch! After being in the kitchen all day I didn't fancy cooking dinner so it was just something on toast.0

I only made this yesterday:o,using this recipe:
www.allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/8114/print-friendly.aspx
but used 300g of marrow and 200g of sugar-400g of sugar seemed way too much. It's nice but I don't really taste the spices.0
