I'm curious to know how much baking of cakes/bread/biscuits you all do in a week!
I tend to go on "benders" and suddenly make a loaf of bread and 3 cakes, and then I can go a month with no baking at all.
Do you have a regular pattern of baking? Could you let me know what you (on average) bake in a week? Thank you!

I'm probably not normal as we are Vegan so buying most baked goods is out of the question. So I make all bread cakes and biscuits etc. There is just the two of us so I bake normally one loaf of bread (I freeze any we don't use) I normally make some biscuits and maybe flapjacks as well. It all depends.

This week which is pretty typical I have made a wholemeal loaf. Some Ginger biscuits and a lemon cake. (Half frozen). Last week it was a Rye/beremeal loaf some Banana muffins and some Flapjacks.

I eat a lot of bread so maybe make two loaves a week.I make a cake maybe every 10 days.I bake more cakes when I have visitors.I know what you mean about going on a bender though.Sometimes there's too much cake sitting around,so I do freeze a lot of individual slices as well.

If I haven't baked for a while I miss it.

Hi - I make three cakes a week for my son`s work -( they pay me!) which I send up in Lakeland sealed trays. I probably make a cake or flapjack for ourselves to eat during the week. Sometimes I get caught out and think I have the right ingredients but tonight I ran out of semolina to make shortbread!

Today i'm doing ciabatta and am planning on trying foccacia as well (not done foccacia before). Will cook salmon same time so oven not wasted.
