Yes,they're a hobnob type biscuit, recipe care of twink I think.I don't often make biscuits but I must try them.I've heard they're very good.I don't know how to do a link, but the recipe is as follows:
225g SR flour
225g sugar
225g porridge oats
225g margarine
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tbsp hot water
1/2 tsp bicarb
Mix flour, oats, sugar.Melt marg, syrup and water in a pan.Stir in bicarb and add to dry mix,mix well, make smallish balls and put on greased tray.
180c for 15 minutes.Cool on the tray. You want them golden, not brown in oven.

They are oaty biscuits, a bit like a hobnob but with desiccated coconut. I've got a recipe from one of those Australian Women's Weekly cookery books if you want me to post it (I will of course word it in my own way so as not to breach any copyright laws)

Hi everyone!
I have recently started baking my own bread. So far i have made;
1 white sour dough loaf
1 multi grain sour dough loaf
1 experimental chocolate bread - not great but i am using it for toast!
I have been using the recipe for quick yeasty spongy sourdough in the river cottage everyday book.
Whipped up a starter this morning for a 6 seed sour dough loaf i am going to bake tomorrow.
I love watching it grow then turning it into something that would easily cost £2.50 at a farmers market or bakery. Even better that it only costs me about 50p to make!
Looking forward to reading what everyone else is baking and taking some inspiration from your posts :-)0 -

To be honest you can barely taste it, and I'm not a fan of coconut either. You could miss out the coconut - you'll have Twinks then0 -
Well I don't think the hobnobs will last long. I've eaten 2 already and so has DH
Pretty sure when DS2 gets hold of them, they'll be none left.
They are absolutely lush, nom nom nom0
