Lovely. You bought the new cake decorating magazine too? I haven't tried anything out of it yet, but yours look very professional.0 -

I made a scripture cake yesterday,which is basically a rich fruit cake.You're supposed to leave it a few days before tasting,so I'll try it on Saturday.It hasn't risen very much,hope it's all right!Would a rich fruit cake rise much?It's a while since I've made one.0 -

I'm very much a beginner and have never ever made a fruit cake in my life! Maybe someone else will be along soon with an answer to that one.0 -

I made a tea loaf yesterday. It's supposed to be kept for a day before eating, but it's all gone already :rotfl:0 -

It smells lovely, can't wait to try it!0 -
Hot cross buns here which smelt divine but turned out to be too heavy. I don't think I let them rise enough before I baked them. Shame - still being moneysaving they'll get toasted and eaten for breakfasts.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

I made this last week, it took ages longer than it should have done to cook. Think my orange must have been too big. It was a nice cake though.
Ive made mini egg cookies today, and had a go at hot cross buns yesterday. I was pretty impressed with my efforts. They are lovely toasted for breakfast.
Trying not to bake too much as I'm trying to lose weight!!0
