A quick question if I might.
I've just unfrozen some apple tart dough and was wondering how long it will stay fresh in the fridge.
Had thought I'd need it today but won't to the week-end - would it be safe to use Sunday?

It'll be fine. I make big batches of pastry and keep it in the fridge for a week.0 -

Two loaves of white bread. They are cooling upside down in their tins, and with any luck will have a soft crust because of it.0

Im really wanting to do some white chocolate brownies but have tried a few recipes and they are pants! Lol.
I love the Jamie Oliver recipe below and wondered if this could be changed to white chocolate, but what would I change the cocoa powder to?
250g unsalted butter
200g dark Fairtrade chocolate (70% cocoa solids), broken up
80g cocoa powder, sifted
65g plain flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking powder
360g caster sugar
4 large free-range or organic eggsGreen and White Barmy Army!0 -
Chocolate muffins made this evening, think I put too much baking powder in as they exploded their cases and are now a rather odd square shape, but they still taste yummy. They've got White chocolate on top with dark chocolate drizzled over. They're to take into work tomorrow, and I'll save one for my dad who's coming to visit me tomorrow night.0
