Today I am baking carrot cake and chocolate brownies (cheats - Betty crocker) have added walnuts to the brownies and am going to make my own frosting for the carrot cake. In the oven now I have a chicken roasting. We're having chicken, salad and new potatoes for tea. I've also cooked some rhubarb with a little sugar, ginger and splash of orange juice. Made a quick sponge mix with ginger and a little vanilla added. I've put the sponge mix on top of the rhubarb and thats pudding sorted with a bit of ice cream. Now I'm going to lay out in the sun as I think thats enough work for one day.
Sitting room needs a bit of a tidy but- hey- it will still be there tomorrow and the sun may not be lol! Have a good day everyone whatever you are doing0 -

Hi
Yesterday I baked a margarita pizza and today I made these: http://www.rivercottage.net/recipes/honey-peanut-butter-booster-bars/
I used 100g of brown sugar and the peanut butter was a bit runny. Really like the flavour of the zest. Makes a change from twinks.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0
