Nothing. But tomorrow I will do a victoria sponge and a cherry cake whilst the roast is on - fill that oven!!! Maybe some rock buns after the sponge to fill the empty shelf...But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0

For tea tonight I made black pepper and lime oven wedges - they were by far the best wedges I've ever made. Here's the link if anyone is interested.

Have just taken a chocolate sponge out of oven....done in deep roasting tin, when cold I will ice with choc icing and cut in squares, half of which will go into freezer. There is still an equalish sized tin filled with a concoction I made when I realised that I had only small amount of butter that I could afford to use in baking.....so its 8ozs sunflower oil, 4ozs butter, 8 ozs porridge oats, 1 lb of flour, 8 ozs sugar, 2 eggs and about 750 gm mixed frozen fruit from last year.....red and blackcurrants, raspberries and a few strawberries....am going to leave it for another 15 mins or so and see how it turns out....I get these mad moments every so often....sometimes they work sometimes they don't, looking at the above list of ingredients I think this may be one of the non-workers, but it smells good....willl report back if it is.
