I made the slimming world quiche made with eggs cottage cheese and onion and slimming world chips. Tasted wounderful and was all free food lol

What is that?
Basically a fruit cake, but sooo easy.
1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
8 oz self raising flour
4 oz sugar
8 oz sultanas or mixed fruit
1 tsp mixed spice
4 oz margarine
1 cup of strong black tea
1 egg
Melt the margarine, tea and fruit in a large saucepan.
Simmer for 1 minute.
When the mixture has cooled, add all other
ingredients.
Put in a loaf or round tin and cook for 1 hour at Gas 4.0 -

I have made some cupcakes / fairy cakes today, vanilla flavoured! They were a trial for some I will be baking tomorrow evening for a charity tea and cake break at work on Friday.
Everything went well... until the piping bag decided to pop and buttercream went on the floor! I think I'll stick to spreading it on with a knife!
