I seem to have managed to mess up most of my baking today, made one big quiche, overcooked the blind baking a bit, 12 mini quiches came out soggy, 12 jam tarts overcooked and I overcooked the flapjacks! Oh well, best to mess up all in one go!

Have made a batch of shortbread and a tray of weetabix brownies
Also have bolognaise in the slow cooker ready for spag bol later.

I so so wish I didnt have to work, I love my day off on Tuesdays!!!

Yes you can and I have even had success freezing it when it is attached to cakes. I once baked and 'frosted' a batch of cupcakes and froze them in completed form and they were lovely when defrosted not quite as good as fresh but not half bad at all.

My bread turned out nice. I couldn't resist tasting while I was slicing it. I am going to make an apple cake after dinner for tomorrow night's dessert. I am working late and won't have time tomorrow.
