    Hi

A tray of mixed fruit and spiced twinks. Yummy but a bit too sweet.

    Yummy Chocolate Cupcakes :D

I made a basic sponge mix, added a few chocolate chips and a little coco powder, then spooned it out into fairy cake cases but only used half as much of the mix as normal (mix normally makes 12 fairy cakes, so this time it made 24). For the topping I just mixed icing sugar and butter to make buttercream, then added in some melted chocolate and put a swirl on the top of each cake :) finished it off with a little grated white chocolate on the top.

I took some into the place I volunteer at and all were gone within 30 mins!

Does anyone have a really nice biscuit/cookie recipe? We have some, but they're never amazing and was just wondering if you wonderful people had any recipes you'd really recommend :) Anything biscuit/cookie-ish is good!

A huge chicken, ham, mushroom & asparagus pie. Chicken was left over from roast on Sunday, ham offcuts cheap from Morrisons, mushrooms & asparagus whoopsied :D.

Also a treacle tart with the spare pastry.

Tomorrow & Wed dinner will be HM chicken soup with the carcass. 12 meals (portions) from one £2.99 chicken and a bit of veg, can't be bad :j
