Mushy banana and apple with raisins cake, all thrown in with flour, egg and sugar and then chucked in the oven, still came out edible. We all loved it, so it must have been good. I am always a bit surprised when my cakes come out ok!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Mum said I'd excelled myself. It was scrummy, but I was a bit miffed after all the other cooking I've done, I must admit :rotfl:

I froze egg whites when I made my mince pie pastry with the egg yolks only. So today the kids had meringues. Had some left over cream as well.

Nothing in it, nothing in it but a ribbon round it .....
  • with my remaining puff pastry, i made some mince pies, using the rest of my mincemeat and a cheese, tomato and red onion open tart
