Finished the decoration on a small Xmas cake to go to a relative next week.
Put the oven on to cook a focaccia to go with evening meal and while I was waiting for the dough to rise etc I made a batch of buttermilk scones. ( Sent DH out for some cream to go with the HM strawberry jam on the scones later:T)

8 doz vieniesse mince pies - to be frozen and to last for the Christmas period! (Traditional pastry base, mincemeat then piped v biscuit ring on the top - they get inhaled by all the family hence the large number made, the mincemeat was on special offer though!)
