    A batch of scones, a white loaf, and currently a multigrain loaf in the breadmaker, as the bread is all stranded and the shops are empty!

    Lastnight I baked my first batch of scones with "Buttermilk" Mr T came through and ordered some in:T
    They tasted truly YUK!!!!!!! all I could taste was sourness:o
    I think I may have used too much buttermilk, put me off using it and almost turned me off scones all together:eek:
    Even the dogs turned their nose up so they must have been bad!
    Think I will stick to milk with a drop of lemon juice in from now on...
    Shocking!!!!!

    Yesterday I made 2 tray bakes of Millionaires shortbread and about 70 truffles lol. That's one lot of presents done, which have gone today :j

    Vegan marinated fruitcake with linseeds, sesame add sunflower seeds-sort of my version of hrt cake. Need to add some oats and more seeds next time.:j:)
