A ginger loaf cake (sssh it came from a Wright's packet, v cheap from Mr Morrison and is VERY tasty and easy) and a batch of 'proper' marmalade from the recipe in the Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker cookbook - very easy and tastes good. I got up early and had it done by the time OH had dragged himself out of bed. You can guess how smug I feel now !

A batch of 6 wholemeal cheese encrusted scones from an old Delia Smith recipe book - circa 1980 something. My mum's old cook book! Love the touch of cayenne pepper which brings out the cheese flavour.
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

I made corned beef hash last night for supper and no-one was hungry! so its been recycled into corned beef pie! I am lucky enough to own a really lovely apple pie dish which is large and deep (found it in a charity shop), so have given half to DIL - who came in to pick up gs not feeling well and shattered from work. so thats supper sorted for two families! we are having ours with wedges (recipe from The Takeaway Secret) peas and onion gravy.
