I made shortbread for the boys lunchboxes, it has to be about the easiest thing in the world to make. I also pureed a load of fruit and veg for the little ladies weaning trays, fun!Fashion on a ration 0 of 660

Hi all
Lovely looking cakes up there.
Today I made a Weetabix loaf (I always have to cook it for over twice the time). I don't actually like it but DH does.
I made a banana bread too and I used less sugar and I found it beautiful.
Now, that's where my success ended because I wasted flour, egg, cheese, milk, bacon - and all because I was trying NOT to waste an avocado. I found a recipe for avocado and cheese muffins. EEEEK they were horrendous and they're all in the bin. The recipe called for a tablespoon of honey and I think that's what did it. I just made fabulous brownies, the recipe is on page one of the Grocery Challenge, but I didn't frost them. Very nice they were, too. I had planned on doing a lemon drizzle but my electric beaters have died a death and I am having a flare up, so had to find something which didn't require a lot of hand working. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
