Had loads of spinach from my allotment so i used the BBC recipe for spinach soup and it was lovely. I would definately make it again.0

I found some home made yoghurt in the fridge that was on the turn, so it quickly became a batch of muffins to which I added some frozen summer berries.
Then while I had the berries out I also made some ice cream (made up some custard using custard powder, cooled it quickly, beat some Elmlea cream and folded it into the custard, added a big handful of berries and churned in the ice cream machine).
Neither of these are as unhealthy as the shop-bought equivalents, so I'm feeling quite virtuous today0 -
We had some bananas that were overripe, so I made a couple loaves of banana bread.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

A lemon yogurt cake from me today. It's just sitting in the kitchen with the icing on. I'm waiting for it to set before I cut it and try it. Never tried this recipe before!

Baking bread this morning and then a chocolate cake for the kids. Also need to make a batch of tomato soup and another soup, probably using butternut squash and berlotti beans as I have both of these! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

My loaf (spelt) was my best one yet. Just having some for my lunch. This time I only kneaded lightly to combine enough flour to the dough and then one rise only in the loaf fin (no knocking back).
Puss14 - I got my loaf tin from TKMaxx and it is fabThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
