What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Hello!!

Thank you WBF for offering to score next month. I will declare 30 please (despite it being my birthday month :)).

Ouch, ouch, ouch... I just fell down the stairs and bent my already dodgy knee, I am now wondering if the fall actually put everything back to place or did more damage. I guess I will find out tomorrow. I will run on Monday, I will run on Monday...

Ok I am making it official, now that I don't have a dog to walk in the mornings (after tomorrow) I am going to use different park and ride (one closer to DD's school instead one close to home) and run from there to work and back. It is nice 5 mile round trip using the toe path. :j I can always change to brisk walk if not feeling like running.

Well done PBT!!! That is fantastic!!!

Hurray it's my 5 month AF anniversary today.

    Congratulations PBT :T:T:T

Had a crap week, DD2 had that norovirus since Tuesday, still not right, nearly up at A&E cos she was so lifeless but forcefed her all manner of rubbish to up her energy. She was upset with me for it, but that's better than her being prepped with drip at the hossy.

Gotta dash, so much to do

  • HALT worked for me in a way I never expected - it was L & T for me that struck a chord. Especially the Thirst aspect. Which in turn helped the Lonely aspect. Good luck to you.
    :D

I forgot that the T is Thirst and I've been so tired lately it's in my mind! So I think I need HALTT instead to think about both Tired and Thirsty as they're both triggers for me.

Actually you might be right and I might be wrong! Anyway thinking of it in that way worked for me whatever works works :j

Shopping all done and onto dusting and cleaning sweeping and mopping next - woo hoo living the dream here!

Nice to hear from RA and Jo - I wondered how things were as you have been so quiet this week. I hope your DD recovers soon and is ok

And congratulations to PBT for your anniversary - how quick time passes! Well done.

WBF - please put me down for a target of 30 AFD for April please

I'm the same :o. Just had large haddock and chips plus battered sausage
and have lots of choklit for later just in case and plenty of fizzy stuff.

I've had a lovely day today but mid way through the afternoon the voice
that says you need to round this off by having a nice drink this evening
starts up :(. I haven't got past the idea Friday and Saturday are drinking nights yet. My AF days have been weekend ones so I can drive if needed
but I still find it hard. Felt all unsettled and grumpy and even tearful
on the way home. It must be great to be past all this PBT. Congratulations
    on your 5 months. That's brilliant :j
Just got to grit my teeth and get on with it this evening and look forward
to feeling good in the morning. I know where I want to be and that is
to be someone who doesn't want to drink. Not someone who wants to drink but doesn't. It's been said before that that is a carp place to be.

Just needed to say that as I'm finding it hard tonight.
