  • That's great. If you can stay within the governments RDAs and (importantly) still be happy then fantastic.
Well I don't stay within the limits all the time, had quite a few on Friday night for instance, way over the daily limit. But then they say you should not REGULARLY exceed your daily limit.

I'm looking forward to trying to be AF tomorrow. My body feels much more rested when I do it. :)

Fay: I sent you PM, I hope you got it.

Unfortunately my head ache seems to be able to swim as it is still with me. Perhaps big glass of water and some sleep is required.

    Night night!!

Men! Why is it that nothing you do can never be as remotely exciting as interesting as what they do?

Woman: "Darling, there are aliens landing on the lawn. They've got guns, they're shooting the neighbours & kidnapping their daughters."

Man: "Do you know I was driving to work this morning & I saw a tree. Yes, a tree. Amazing." (edit:clearly said in the style of Boris Johnson)

    *rolls eyes*

And yes, I know, this is horribly sexist & not generally true. At least if I get it out of my system on here it saves it festering & me dwelling on it

    *sigh*

evening and good night all XxX - 8 af for me. The night has just faffed itself away I didnt need to do anything! went to asda as am running out of food - busy takeaway weekend - got back at 10.10pm and my sister was here! She's just moved into a flat 2 miles away from 30 miles! hence my busy weekend... I did a lot of moving for her :A - well she is a paranoid schizophrenic with a severe pd

So just got in after taking her home and sorting her central heating out and counting boxes and cats! She's trying to palm me off with one of her cats - sshhh but it's secretly adorable; not sure the dog would like it though. So am off to bed as am more than tired.

oh someone was catching up on Being Human - how ace is that! watched it last night - love it.

If slankets become compulsory around here I will be forced to leave the thread in protest! :p

That's OK for you HB, you've got your lovely furry coat to keep you warm!!:D
This is going to sound daft, but I noticed something very important at work this evening ..... I enjoy work in the evening much much more when I'm FAFFing !!!!!!

I have come to the conclusion thats because I'm not in a hurry to get home and have a drink

Just thought I would pass that on :D

    BHB
    xx

Doesn't sound daft at all. Lamarsi said much the same thing that she can do more work in the evenings because she's not dashing home to have a drink.

Cheer up sparkles, I think you're doing ever so well. fakeplastictwee, I know what you mean about having just one drink, and 'ruining' an AF day, but I think you're a saint to have just one. astightascanbe, I think it definitely gets harder as the week progresses. Displacement activities are the answer, there's nothing like boreedom to produce a gap that booze fills just nicely.

Lots of people gone AWOL recently, haven't seen Budgie or Cazza or GP and that's only three. (If you're lurking:wave:) Oh and I forgot my manners over the weekend and forgot to say hi to eselt when she dropped by.

Off to bed now to read for a while.

    5AF please fay.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
