Any ideas anyone?0 -

Really.
{Firstly, I never called anyone stupid, and never would on this forum.}
i never said you called anyone stupid, its how you speak about shop staff that makes you look like you think that. One day a child of yours may work in retail and oh the horror stories they will bring back about how they were spoken to by awful customers, how customers chuck things on the floor roll over it with a buggy and tell the 16 year old saturday staff "its your job to pick it up" this is what we have to put up with and your "them and us" attitude tells all.
{Secondly, I did not say anything about using two £5 vouchers - I said I thought it might be possible to use a £5 total spend voucher when paying with Nectar vouchers. The reason I said that is because I have done this several times before in the past, and the staff have been happy to do this for me}
i was giving an example!
{Thirdly, as jo_b said as well, I have always got my Necatr points for purchases made using Nectar vouchers.}
irrelevant to this conversation, the till issues nectar points not the staff, the staff deal with vouchers.
{I'm only speaking from experience, and trying to help. Sorry if you thought I was being derogatory towards Adams staff; that was not what I meant at all. If Adams staff are doing things diferrently in different stores, then surely it's a sign of a lack of training in the company, and not really my fault as a customer.}
Unfortunately no amount of training will make all staff in any company do and say EXACTLY the same thing, no programmed robots yet!!
what you were talking about was not to do with training, you were talking about "tricking" the staff to putting vouchers through a certain way as if you are fooling them!
i am also apart from being a Quote "they" (person from another planet maybe?) a customer as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)0 -

Those who have said Adams have emailed to say they can be bought with these, do you have an email address I can contact them on? Woman phoned another branch to confirm (She said it was White Rose at Leeds so be warned anyone wanting to do this there!) & said they have never accepted Nectar vouchers for Adams vouchers.
you should ask the store to ring customer care to clarify this from the store phone and tell them you have had an e mail to confirm this can be done, i can assure you 100% you can buy Adams vouchers with Nectar vouchers.:)0 -

Thank you. Am awaiting receipt of £300 worth of vouchers and even with my three and 2 birthday gifts will really struggle to use all of them by the end of October. Have only just spent a small fortune on school uniforms at Adams too using real money\:eek: In the past I have noticed that my local store aalways asks for my nectar card and checks the number. I never noticed that the number was printed along the bar code. I suppose that rules out selling the vouchers on EBay!0 -
Yesterday I received I first batch of vouchers. Only 7...but I did get them. OH and I went shopping and popped in to exchange them for adams gift vouchers. Had no trouble at all.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006 :eek: Now seemingly a normal little monster. :beer:
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0
