I'd expect so, yes. Only in September, though, as that's when the £5 voucher is valid.

Earlier this year, I had £5 Adams vouchers from Comfort, for an £x spend, and I used them with Nectar vouchers. The trick is to hand over the £5 voucher first, so that they won't see how you're going to pay. ;)

(The Nectar vouchers are like cash really, aren't they, so they should accept them in conjunction with total spend vouchers - that's my logic anyway )

Do you actually think shop staff are completely stupid? I work at Adams and can honestly say i know all the customers tricks from refunds to vouchers, what i will say is that Adams is a very customer friendly company and give customers the best deal when it comes to anything including vouchers, buy one get one half price etc, if i served someone who had a voucher to save £5 off a £25 spend and they had another £5 voucher to spend but had only spent £25.50 i can genuinely say i would put the first voucher in first, i could put the second voucher in first then say you could not use the other as its not over £25 but i would not as this is what i would want to do if i was a customer, so next time when you are in please don`t think you are fooling anyone, only yourself!:)

Oh yes, and remember to use your Nectar card as well as you'll get points even when paying with Nectar vouchers.

    *phew* :D

sorry, but you do not earn nectar points for the value spent in nectar vouchers, any other vouchers and payment will give you nectar points.:)

I expect i am not the only one who is looking for a way of extending when these vouchers have to be spent. The have to be used by 31st October.I am sending them to someone as a gift who already had lots of baby clothes at the moment.I cant see anything in Adams T& c s re gift vouchers not being able to be purchased. There were adams t &c s on this board under the loyalty card section-but have been unable to find them today.I also wondered if we bought stuff, then returned it without the receipt, would they give us credit vouchers, and how long do you have to spend them?
    Any ideas anyone?

There are varying repsonses on this board. Adams have emailed to say gift vouchers can be purchased with nectar vouchers however others on the board had said that Adams don't do this. Also they may stamp the vouchers with an expiry date (has happened to me in the past).

I am not sure about credit vouchers. I think it will be a guess of just trying it. I would imagine that difference stores will do difference things.

Perhaps everyone could let us know how they get on.

    Thanks

I don't think I appreciate the tone of your post.

Firstly, I never called anyone stupid, and never would on this forum.

Secondly, I did not say anything about using two £5 vouchers - I said I thought it might be possible to use a £5 total spend voucher when paying with Nectar vouchers. The reason I said that is because I have done this several times before in the past, and the staff have been happy to do this for me.

Thirdly, as jo_b said as well, I have always got my Necatr points for purchases made using Nectar vouchers.

I'm only speaking from experience, and trying to help. Sorry if you thought I was being derogatory towards Adams staff; that was not what I meant at all. If Adams staff are doing things diferrently in different stores, then surely it's a sign of a lack of training in the company, and not really my fault as a customer.
