Penny - your post made me well up. It must be so hard having to watch someone you love go like that but in the other sense you have the opportunity to say the things you always wanted to each other. And I am sure he meant every word he said about you xx

Thriftlady - oooooh enjoy Joseph. Last and only time I saw it was Pippy Schofield and I'd love to see it again, it's such a good show. I like the Malvern Theatre - but more intimate since it's a smaller auditorium I think :D

Essex-girl - ah at least someone in the know has looked at DS's arm. Hope he hasn't broken it.

    Hi
DS safely dropped off at school and just grabbing a cup of tea before I trek to library to pick up some books I ordered and some continental meats from Netto.
I need to get some baking done today too,Bitsy you must stop mentioning cheese scones nearly everyday;) they are my absolute faves but no one else likes them so rarely make them, think I will make them today tho.
Tea today is HM cheese and onion pie, wedges and beans, not sure what DS is having. Tomorrow am making savoury fish crumble hoping DS will eat it.
I was having a quick catch up with a friend earlier after school run, she runs a craft shop and they have crochet classes there Friday 10 30 till 12:Twas pleased to hear that as I thought it would be me learning on my own with Youtube:rotfl:
I have ordered book from Amazon called The Red Beast.....for helping autistic children deal with anger, it has good reviews and the other parents say it worked so will try. i need to get something sorted before I crack. It has got to the stage where I am dreading this weekend trying to keep him occupied and deal with the meltdowns:(I just hope there are not too many anger tantrums.
Thriftlady is it the one with Craig chalmers in who won the BBC competition? I saw that production last year and it was fab:T you cant help but be lifted by it.
PP made me cry too:o how lovely that you both got to communicate your feelings in such a lovely way. He obviously means a lot to you. I hope his journey is quick and peaceful
Bitsy now you can begin the process of getting him the help he needs. It is a long and often confusing path but you get there;). Did the SLT mention him starting on PECS? I have some CDRoms i can send you to do your own PECS symbols and REBUS symbols for visual timetables when you get round to needing them....if you have no idea what I am on about you will do soon:).

    Morning everyone.
Early start here as the dog decided she couldn't keep her legs crossed any longer this morning and I couldn't get back to sleep.
I often have mornings like that . . . but nothing to do with the dog. :rotfl:

....Not much to do today so I'm planning on getting started with my next crochet project- a bag to keep my yarn in. Although by the time it's finished I won't have much yarn left.

Must bake something for the tins- muffins or scones.
Loving the photos you're putting up on Flickr - the blanket is sooo pretty, will leave a comment or two when I've got more time :)

Penny- Have to say, you've got me blubbering this morning. Will keep you and yours in my thoughts, especially FIL and hope all will be peaceful and calm for him.

Have quite a list of to-do's today, but have decided to leave the puter on for check ins from time to time. There was supposed to be someone coming to fix the fan in the bathroom yesterday, they never did show and never bothered to call. We'll see what today brings!

Hadn't been in yesterday and just had to have a quick look in to see how everyone was doing, may return later in the day (as a treat if I get THE LIST done!) Looking forward to the weekend
  • morning all!
Managed to finish reading one of my library books this morning so will start on the last one today - i love sitting down to a good book and losing myself for a few hours! Drives DH mad as he is not much of a bookworm but it is one of my few pleasures in life.
Todays plans are to clean the shower room, dust upstairs and do the usual sprint round with the hoover. DH has last day at work today and then he has all next week off so i will be drawing up a list of jobs for him to finish - that should go down well lol.
Have cleaned out Georges cage already and he is currently sitting on the desk next to me trying to walk all over the keyboard! Had toast and jam this morning. Last week i won 6 pots of jam in a competition and DH said the jam was yummy so i grabbed the pot out of the cupboard and put it on my toast. It was yummy but i have just discovered that i had in fact put cranberry sauce on my toast instead of the jam!. Watched final destination 4 last night but it was not great. i may rent out the hurt locker this weekend as my DS son said it is very good.
hugs to those that need one!
    Have a good day everyone.

Morning. Am now in possession of a charger!:j Well to be accurate this is the second one as the packaging was open and the plug not usable. The company were fab and sent out the replacement before they had received the damaged one back:T:T
Anyway got this yesterday-ironically on a day I was not able to go online:(
Haven't been able to catch up but have been thinking about you all.
Will be spending most of today clearing the horrific amount of emails.
Toes tons better have been discharged by the lovely nurses just got to see GP next Thursday then that should be it.
BM just on. Thank goodness I didn't get rid of it. Had stopped using it when I got the Kenwood and was going to Freecycle it but it has proved to be fantastic particularly since the accident.
Need to use up some very ripe bananas so probably will make a banana bread later. AM going to roast a load of veg shortly to use in a soup. Still fustrated by the knee problem and the reduction in mobility although I am getting more done:j
Hope AussieLass & AussieLad had?are having a safe journey.
Hugs to all. Will have a quick read and post later.
Jayne & George thinking of you. Hope Pixel is ok.
Instead of doing a huge list will read and post later.
Have a good day and take care.
    Bye for now.

p.s. Am off to see what himself posted. He may be in trouble:D

    Morning all

Raining here today and very grey looking. I think we need some sun to cheer us all up now - seems along time since we were all posting about hanging washing out in the sunshine to blow!

Got up early this morning as thought i might go into work for a few hours but really didn't feel up to it - got a shower and washed hair then had no energy left whatsoever! So hubbie persuaded me to go back to bed for a couple of hours instead.

OS has been in short supply this week I am afraid as I have not been fit to do anything but hopefully will start to catch up over the weekend. I have even talked hubbie into bringing fish and chips home for tea on his way home as a treat:D:o

((((Hugs)))) Penny, I hope his passing is peaceful and painfree.

    Have a good day everyone

    x

Edited to say Aussie sorry just won't be able to make the meet tomorrow but get lots of photos please.
