Do they ever change the flight time, and then change it back again?! I booked return Dinard-East Midlands at the beginning of January to come back from work in France for a friend's wedding. Ryanair have changed the 12:55 return flight to 10:30 and I haven't had notification yet so fingers crossed it might go back, and I can have another hour and a half sleep after the exertions of the evening ceilidh! If it goes any earlier I might just end up staying up all night...

I'm not sure. Hopefully it will revert to its original time. This is a nightmare for anyone wanting to book transport connections though!

I hope that they do not try and revert my flights to the original booking as it has cost £150 to change our hotel booking (3 rooms) to the following day!!
We have not got as far as booking airport parking or resort transfers yet otherwise we may have incurred further additional costs.

To update on this thread that I have received an email from Ryanair today titled '1st Notification of a change in departure/arrival time of your flight for booking ref' advising of the change to my flight (from Saturday to Sunday). I was given the option to accept this change or had to contact the call centre to change the flight, get a travel credit or a refund.
My OH called me at work to state we had, had an email from them about flight changes and my heart dropped thinking there had been yet another change. I have to say I have not had problems with Ryanair in the past but this has affected my confidence in them.

It happened to me with Globespan. They changed the leaving time on my homeward journey by about 6 hours and I booked an extra day's accommodation as I didn't want to be chucked out early in the morning with a toddler. They then changed it back again so that money was wasted.

14 weeks after my flight time was changed from 10:50 to 07:10 (I noticed on the website myself and was not told at the time), I received an email from Ryanair informing me and asking me to accept the change. 14 weeks later - what a service! I fly in 4 weeks' time.

I had similar but I received the 2nd notification of the change asking me to accept it. I had noticed anyway it had changed. About 3 weeks after accepting the 1st notification of the change arrived by email. So I think either a system or email server at Ryanair is at fault

Ok.. I have just received new of my flight being changed as you have all stated with the "1st Notification" it states clearly on the email:

"If you do not wish to accept your flight time change.

As your flight times have changed significantly (more than 2 hours before or after the original scheduled departure times), you may apply either for a Travel Credit for the unused flight sector(s) on your booking or a full refund of all monies paid."

My flights were originally due to leave birmingham for Faro at 17.25 it now leaves at 20.10. Also the return flight was due to leave at 13.50 and now leaves 17.35.

The difference between both the flights is 2 hours 45 minutes each.

It also states on the terms and conditions that the flight needs to be three hours different!

Im very confused and have applied for a refund but to make it more interesting the same flights have halved in price.. I originally paid £2600 for ten of us flying, to re-book on ryanair.com would only cost me £1300.

Can anyone help me with this situation???

    Thanks Joe

Providing the flights don't get booked up in the meantime, there's nothing to stop you claiming a refund and rebooking with Ryanair at the lower price.

Thats exactly what i am trying to do.. but why is it giving me two different times in which the flight can be refunded!

It says two hours on the email which makes my refund legit but then states three hours in their terms and conditions which makes it non legit for a refund as the change is 2 hours 45 minutes.

Surely this email has created a written contract?

For that kind of saving Id be phoning to confirm my refund was valid.
