As a matter of interest, does anyone here have a FairFX card that is identified as an "Anywhere" card on the card itself, on the acount page, or anywhere else?Thatnks, but I wasn't asking what FairFX advertise - I was asking what you have.
Actually you asked if anyone had one that was identified as "Anywhere" and this identification is where I said - probably the first box you have to select when you apply for one.0 -
I have had a FairFX € card for some time and have used it in Spain & Italy for purchases, not ATM, and have never been charged any fees. I have just checked my account to make sure. They send e-mails when the € has increased, their rates of exchange are better that most. I would recommend it.
I never knew that the card avoided Ryanair fees, thanks guys.

I did keep reading... and did not find that text anywhere in the T&Cs. Your quote is false.
First of all, there are no fee figures in the T&Cs. This is illustrated by this statement:The information contained in this table summarises key product features and is not intended to replace any terms and conditions
Secondly, there is a banner within your opodo link for those who want to learn more about the Anywhere card. Here, take a look for yourself.
I'll print it here too:The FairFX Anywhere Card is the latest addition to the FairFX Prepaid MasterCard® family. Just as the name suggests, use it anywhere - in any country, in any currency and with any vendor displaying the MasterCard® acceptance mark!
It's essentially a FairFX Prepaid MasterCard® in Pounds Sterling, with funds being converted to the appropriate currency at the point of sale. Unlike some of our competitors, we don't mark up the prevailing interbank exchange rate!
The standard card fee is £9.95 for initial loads under £500 but for a limited time, the FairFX Anywhere Card will be absolutely free of charge.
A 1.5% charge is made on all usage, ATM or point of sale, using the FairFX Anywhere Card, in the UK, on the internet, or abroad - Anywhere!. There is no additional ATM fee*.
Thirdly, you don't sign anything in order to get a card. You agree to the terms and conditions by using the card or by signing the back of it. The Terms and Conditions supplied with the card, direct you to the website for information about fees and charges.
So all the nonsense you write here about fees differing from the Terms and Conditions at the time you signed, is just that, nonsense.
If you had read your T&Cs they would have directed you to the website. If on checking the website you were not happy with the fees involved, you could have rejected the card. You didn't.
You used it, accepting the Terms and Conditions in place at the time. They don't seemed to have changed substantially since the inception of the card since last December.
You signed up a few weeks ago.
We can all see that you are desperate to be proved right against all odds. But it's not going to happen. You are just looking dumb. Give it up.0 -

How does this identify the card you have? Does the card you own say "Anywhere" on it? Does its entry on your account page says "Anywhere" on it?
The Pounds Sterling card is the Anywhere card. None of the cards have Anywhere written on them. Is it going to sink in to your thick skull?0 -

If you have any different T&Cs that you agreed when you used this card, please do post them. But actually it sounds like you don't even own this opodo promotion card, so cannot have done so...0 -
The are no fees listed under the terms and conditions. Take another look:The information contained in this table summarises key product features and is not intended to replace any terms and conditions
Says what is says?? What does that actually mean?
I went through a 'dummy run' on the opodo website. Didn't have to agree to any T&Cs. Where exactly in the process did you have to do this?
You are saying that the fees have changed. I am telling you they have remained unchanged since inception, which was before you applied for a card.
If they had CHANGED the fees, they would have been obliged to send you notice. By they haven't changed the fees. You simply misunderstood them
The fee table in your opodo link does not constitute terms and conditions. It's just an illustration that you have misunderstood.
Again, there are no fees stated in the T&Cs.
No, I applied for my card direct from FairFx. It's exactly the same card as the one some who applied via opodo would receive.
The T&Cs come with the card. There are no fees listed on the T&Cs. You are directed to the FairFx website for fee information.0 -
