It doesn't stop people bringing them in from elsewhere though? What happens then?
In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different. ;)

See post's #15 to #17, it was sort of addresed there, but have to admit it is unclear if it is banned altogether, or if its just to try reduce the instances of abuse (it is abit more hasle posting them as a pic).

As dan said, they will be dealt whith when reported, nothing in this thread says you must report them every time you see them, just imply you report them if its in an abusive way.

Or in other words, i have not got a clue:p
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(

Far from it, the negative posting causes a huge resource issue, which has led to this decision.

I don't mind this change at all as I use this one to scare off newbies:

I am really missing both rolleyes.gif and confused-smiley-013.gif

MSE towers demonstrate absolute lack of common sense and taste. It's like painting everything in pink.

Do you really think that removing some smileys can solve this? What used to be expressed in harmless smileys will be said in unpleasant words instead from now on.

If some idiots complain about smileys, the complaints have to go directly to the bin. If they complain about something more serious, banning some smileys doesn't change anything.

I am with you on the :money: that is the most pathetic, annoying, unprofessional thing i have ever seen, and cringe, in a sort of nails on blackboard sort of way every time anyone uses it.

And that’s no reflection on the fact its Martin, in fact if I was Martin I would have insisted it was removed out of embarresmant
And this smilie is ok how?

    :grouphug:

What image does that give the site.

Crazy ill thought out action imo. The above two are disgraceful and I agree that I'd have been more concerned about what impression they give of the site more than the use of the confused and the sarcasm emoticon.

And why leave > ? That's just going to get used instead now. Silly, silly solution.

MSE tried that with the forum theme a while back. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I kid you not. Well............. nearly pink anyway.

Everyone hated it, and it was changed back.
